Notice of Semi-Annual Clean-up

Schaap Sanitation will be picking up the junk set out at the curb. They will also pick up items, such as kitchen or laundry appliances, microwaves,

TV’s, computers, printers,

water heaters, A/C’s and furnaces, etc.at a cost of $20 TO $25 each.

Refrigerators and freezers must be free of food or debris or they will not be picked up.

 

 PAID IN ADVANCE. STICKERS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE CITY HALL, THE CORNER POCKET BAR & GRILL/LIQUOR STORE

 OR THE CURRIE STATE BANK-OKABENA OFFICE.

 

PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANY JUNK ON THE CURB

 PRIOR TO A WEEK BEFORE OCTOBER 3rd, IF POSSIBLE.

NO grass clippings, leaves, garden materials, branches, tires, rocks, concrete, sheet rock, dirt, or hazardous waste items will be picked up.

(For demolition projects please get a “Roll Away” from Schaap’s Sanitation.)

 

Any resident, with more than two yards of junk set out on the curb, will be charged extra, as recorded by Schaap Sanitation. Call 853-4500 if you have any questions.

 

The maintenance department will be flushing hydrants sometime

 during the last two weeks of October.
