NOTICE: LOCAL BOARDS OF APPEAL AND EQUALIZATION

Important Information Regarding Property Assessments

This may affect your 2022 property taxes.

The Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Okabena and the West Heron Lake Township will meet on April 12, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Okabena City Hall.  The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.

Dog licenses due in April

The charge(s) of $10 per dog will reflect on your monthly statement. A copy of current rabies vaccination is required for city records.  Thank you.
