2026 Okabena elections will be here before you know it!
Offices to be voted on:
1 Mayor 2 year term
1 Council member 4 year term
2 Council member 4 year term
3 Council member (special) 2 year term
The city clerk has new 2026 candidacy affidavits in the office for anyone who would like to put their hat in the ring.
While the city of Okabena has mail in ballots, you are welcome to drop off ballots at the Jackson County Courthouse - 405 - 4th St. Jackson, Minnesota.
Jackson County Courthouse will be open to accept ballots during regular hours and the special hours below:
Saturday August 8th 9:00am - 3:00pm
Saturday October 24th 9:00am - 3:00pm
Tuesday October 27th 8:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday October 31st 9:00am - 3:00pm
Sunday November 1st 9:00am - 3:00pm
Monday November 2nd 8:00am - 5:00pm
Please remember our mail system is a little slower these days so if you plan to mail your ballot in, make sure to mail it as early as possible.
